A Glimpse of Glasgow
For so long i've been wanting to see Scotland. I am intrigued to see Glasgow in particular.
When you listen to some music, it just seems that a song becomes a complete story if you hear it right where it was written, or where the band came from. There's something magical about listening to a music right in its original environment. Quick reference to recent music videos, I would imagine the feeling would be like in Camera Obscura's Troublemaker video or The Pastel's Check My Heart. So with Glasgow, I have one dream, that is to stroll around the city with my ipod on.
All accomodations are full during our visit due to the rugby season. That night, Scotland is playing against NZ's all blacks. So we only managed to do a day trip, and continue to Edinburgh late at night.
We visited Kelvingrove Museum and took long stroll around West End area.
Too bad this is a very short trip, I still would love to come back and visit Charles Rennie Mackintosh's buildings, such as Willow Tea Rooms. Plus some vintage shopping wouldn't hurt.
So yes, Glasgow is still definitely on my bucket list.
